JCI-BUS BACnet

The JDB6452 is an input/output expansion module compatible with the Johnson Controls Metasys® FEC family of field equipment controllers. It is designed to provide additional inputs and outputs for FEC, FAC and NCE controllers. The device JDB6452 provides the feature of manual override for two 2-state drives. The binary outputs of state 1 and 2 are interlocked. When changing from one state to the other in auto mode, a short-time delay between the two states should be configured in the application. The state and fail status of the inputs is indicated by the LEDs, the fail indication LEDs are user defined red or green. The JDB6420 is a front panel device which can be mounted into the door of a cabinet. On the front panel the state of the inputs is signalized through LEDs and manual override of the outputs can be done with rotary switches. Each front panel device will be connected to its corresponding rail module by an USB-cable. The JDB6452 module is a DIN rail mountable device and includes the terminals for wiring the physical input and output points. The JDB6452 module communicates with the host controller via the controller’s SA bus. Configuring and commissioning of the JDB6452 module is done using the Controller Configuration Tool (CCT). When adding the JxBxx52 devices to the SA Bus in the CCT it is necessary to select the equivalent JxBxx10 model from the SA Bus Device list.
