JCI-BUS BACnet

The JDB8451 is an input/output expansion module compatible with the Johnson Controls Metasys® FEC family of field equipment controllers. It is designed to provide additional inputs and outputs for FEC, FAC and NCE controllers. The device JDB8451 provides the control of four 1-state drives with integral manual overrides for the binary outputs selected by 3 position switches. The run and fail status of the corresponding inputs is indicated by the LEDs, the fail indication LEDs are user defined red or green. The 4 Binary Outputs and 8 Binary Inputs can also be configured independently as additional physical points for the host controller. The JDB8451 module is a DIN rail mountable device which includes the terminals for wiring the physical input and output points, the manual overrides as well as the status and troubleshooting LEDs. The JDB8451 module communicates with the host controller via the controllers SA (sensor/actuator) bus. Configuring and commissioning of the JDB8451 module is done using the Controller Configuration Tool (CCT).
