Roland Muss founded the company in 1992 as a one-man business. It all began with the idea of reducing the mechanical effort required to install individual control elements, such as switches and indicator lights - intro control cabinet doors.
From this concept, today's industry-standards manual control level was born. It enables facility personnel in large-scale properties, such as airports, exhibition centers, shopping malls, hospitals and schools - to manually override building automation systems in a clear and intuitive way whenever needed.
This core idea evolved into a forward-thinking company that was been supplying high-quality eletronic solutions for building automation for over 30 years.
In addition to manual override systems, romutec specializes in I/O modules for flexible integration into modern control systems, as well as retrofit solutions that bring outdated installations up to current technichnal standards - efficiently, safely, and without full system replacement.
